What we take on

Clear advice, fixed scopes, and litigation when negotiation is not enough.

01

Business & contracts

Formation, shareholder agreements, vendor contracts, and review before you sign. We draft with your business model in mind — not generic templates that leave gaps your counterparty's counsel will find. Turnaround for standard contract review is three to five business days unless you tell us it is urgent.

02

Dispute resolution

Demand letters, mediation strategy, and litigation with budget checkpoints so costs do not outrun the claim. We assess settlement value and litigation cost honestly before recommending a path — and revisit that assessment when facts change. Most commercial disputes resolve without trial and we keep that option open throughout.

03

Employment advisory

Handbooks, termination guidance, and investigations proportionate to the risk. We draft policies that comply with current law in your jurisdiction and update clients when significant changes occur. Termination letters and severance agreements are reviewed before issuance, not after complaints are filed.

04

Property & leasing

Commercial leases, easements, and landlord–tenant matters with title coordination included in the scope. We negotiate lease terms with your operational needs front of mind — exclusivity, assignment rights, and build-out obligations are reviewed, not skimmed. Title and survey issues are flagged before closing, not after keys change hands.

How the work moves

A written sequence from first brief to handoff — the same rail on every engagement.

  1. 01 · Consultation

Conflict check, fact summary, and initial options — usually within one week of inquiry.

  2. 02 · Written scope

Fee structure, timeline, and deliverables agreed in writing before substantive work begins.

  3. 03 · Delivery & follow-up

Final memo or filing plus a close-out call to confirm next steps and ongoing obligations.

From people who signed off

They told us not to litigate a $40k dispute because the fees would exceed recovery. That honesty earned a long-term retainer.

Our vendor contract review caught indemnity language our in-house team missed. Fixed before signature, not in court.

Questions before the work starts

How are fees structured?

We use fixed fees for defined projects, retainers for ongoing advisory, and hourly billing for litigation — always estimated in writing before work starts. We send monthly invoices with time descriptions detailed enough that you can see what was done, not just a total.

Do you offer free consultations?

Initial consultations are billed at a reduced rate and credited toward your engagement if you instruct us. This keeps the first meeting substantive rather than a sales call — we can actually review your documents and give you an informed view.

Which courts do you appear in?

State and federal courts in our region, plus arbitration panels where contracts require it. For matters outside our jurisdiction, we co-counsel with local firms rather than requiring you to find your own.

What size company do you typically work with?

Primarily owner-operated businesses and companies between five and 500 employees. We are practical about costs at that scale — we do not recommend processes designed for public companies.
